1874 Northwich are one of 16 teams remaining in a cup competition being run by the North West Under 21 Developmental League.
They will visit Ramsbottom United on Sunday in the first game of the knockout stage after finishing top of their Supplemental Cup group, though Witton Albion have missed out on the next stage after failing to finish in the top two in the same group.
As well as defeating Witton 2-0 at Moss Farm, 1874 smashed Abbey Hey 6-2 while drawing 2-2 at Runcorn Linnets in their matches to reach the knockout games.
Now they will face a Ramsbottom team that opened with a 2-0 win at Winstanley Warriors, that then lost 3-1 against Macclesfield Town before being handed a walkover win against Cammell Laird.
Witton did bow out on a high note, however, with a 5-2 victory over Abbey Hey at the weekend.
A 2-2 draw at Linnets and the loss to 1874 was not enough to qualify.
Albion's third placed finish should have meant progress into a Shield competition, but a number of teams decided to withdraw leading to its cancellation.
