A CARE home resident who is 'Cheshire born and bred' turns 100 today, Thursday.
Margaret Easton will celebrate her centenary year at the Chapel Fields Care Home in Frodsham.
She is a regular at Frodsham Market, and is described as an endearing, cheeky and resilient woman.
Her family have been completely blown away by the care, respect and comfort the care home has brought to Margaret and they want to shine a light on the home, the brilliant staff and all they’ve done.
They also really wanted to celebrate Margaret’s remarkable life as they were due to throw a big party for her, but that is now on hold due to the pandemic .
Margaret's family have shared some heartwarming images from Margaret's life.
One captures her honeymoon with husband Alexander in Torquay.
She was then parted from him for more than six years just after the photo was taken as he went off to war.
There are also a selection of photographs with her family.
Another photograph is taken from the window of the care home.
Her family had unearthed the black and white photos of her honeymoon and captured her reaction seeing them for the first time in decades.
