THESE are the latest coronavirus rates across Cheshire, according to Government data.
In the seven days leading up to April 19, there were 66 new coronavirus cases recorded in Cheshire East - the equivalent of 17.2 per 100,000 residents.
Meanwhile, in the same period, a total of 42 cases were recorded in Cheshire West and Chester - or a rate of 12.2 per 100,000.
The data is expressed as the number of people with at least one positive Covid-19 test result, either lab-reported or by lateral flow device.
The rates per 100,000 resident population give a fairer comparison of the number of cases in each area but they do not take account of the different rates of testing or differences in the age and gender of the local populations.
On Friday alone, April 23, a total of 11 people tested positive across Cheshire East.
In Cheshire West and Chester, this figure was six.
