The scene in Manchester Road (Eloise Pickering)
A MAJOR road in Northwich is blocked after a trailer came off a HGV.
Police were called to Manchester Road earlier this evening to deal with the incident.
Traffic heading to and from Lostock Gralam is affected. Officers are also stationed near McDonald's directing vehicles.
Eyewitnesses, who came across the incident shorty after 6pm, report seeing no-one injured at the scene.
Drivers are advised to find alternate routes for the time being.
