NORTHWICH Rugby Club's Superstars had an eventful morning taking part in a voluntary litter pick and tidy up of the Moss Farm Sports Complex.
The whole site was targeted and successfully covered, with more than 10 bags of rubbish including broken glass collected from the grounds and play area.
A club spokesman said: "A bin bag of dog poop was collected which is amazing as dogs are banned from the Brio run site by order of Cheshire West & Chester Council."
Northwich Rugby would like to thank all the parents and children for helping to get the grounds ready for today's return to rugby. Also, for keeping the sports grounds tidy for other Northwich based teams and public who use the facilities.
"It was a brilliant effort put in by all," concluded the spokesman.
