EASTER weekend is almost upon us and while we’re still waiting for the day when we can actually meet up with our friends in our favourite pubs, cafes and restaurants – here’s a selection of places offering take-out Easter menus that you can enjoy in your gardens, with your special six!
Chime in Hartford has some fantastic fishy Good Friday specials on the menu, including honey, lemon and soy tempura king prawns, and tandoori spiced salmon. It’s also worth checking out the regular menu which also caters for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free customers.
If you still need a Good Friday fishy fix, the Hartford Fryer – based at The Coachman Inn – offers a fantastic take away service. You can browse the full up to date takeaway collection menu, and tailor your requirements with as many extras as you require. Collection only.
Bookings are also open for Easter Sunday roasts at Kanya Bistro and Bar, where you can choose from vegetarian nut roast, or a selection of meat dishes – all served with the usual trimmings. Delivery or collection is available.
Bruschetta is taking orders up until 10am tomorrow for its Sunday roast beef, served with Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes, buttered cabbage, roasted carrots with thyme, cauliflower, broccoli and gravy followed by chocolate and orange cheesecake.
The Bowling Green on London Road is offering a classic roast dinners with a choice of nut roast, beef or chicken on the menu.
The Big Lock in Middlewich is providing Sunday dinner delivered to your door and is currently taking bookings. If you fancy spicing it up a little you can also order your own cocktail packs – ranging from a Wham bar sling box to a variety cocktail gift box. Cheers!
If it’s an afternoon tea you fancy then The Cosy Tea Room in Winsford is taking bookings for Easter Saturday and Sunday with children’s afternoon teas also available. Tuck into a box of delicious sweet and savoury treats, mini milkshake and an Easter activity. Collection or delivery is available
It’s also worth checking out Davenports of Cheshire, which offers an Afternoon Tea at Home service for collection on its website, which includes quality tea or coffee, mixed sandwiches, mini cakes and freshly baked scones.
And finally, if you’re planning a picnic, you can get a wonderful array of baked goods from The Crows Nest Café in Moulton. Open for takeaway across the Easter holidays you can stock up on all the goodies you’ll need from their selection of pies, cakes and tasty treats.
