STRONG winds and heavy, blustery showers are expected across much of England between Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning saying there could be power cuts and disrutions to services.
There could also be delays to journeys on roads, bridges and motorways that are exposed to the elements with bus and train journeys expected to take longer.
The yellow warning is currently in place for all of England and Wales between 9pm on Wednesday and 3pm on Thursday.
You should avoid travelling where possible but the Met Office has information on driving in heavy rain and wind here.
