A TUMBLE dryer woke a neighbourhood in the early hours of this morning.
Firefighters received multiple calls reporting a house fire in Chester Road shortly before 3.15am.
All of the occupants were safely accounted for.
Four firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. A covering jet was also put in place.
Crews then used a large fan to clear the smoke from the property.
Two fire engines from Northwich were at the scene for around an hour and a half.
