BEAR in Northwich is hosting a pop-up cupcake shop at its Barons Quay home on Saturday.
The popular venue held a similar event last week which was all about donuts, with another local sweet treat provider taking over the reigns this time.
Teaming up with Kerri and Katie's Cakes, BEAR will be opening the pop-up shop between 10am-3pm.
Sam Nowzady, manager of the store said: "We did Project D last week and it went really well and gave us the opportunity to bring another local business into the town.
"It also gives our amazing customers and the people of Northwich something different during these hard times and long lockdown.
"We were approached by other local businesses to support them in Northwich and we are doing cupcakes with two local ladies to support them during these hard times and connect to our customers again.
"We are hoping to do these pop ones more until we know that we can open our doors again."
Since it opened last summer, BEAR has proved to be popular with the people of the town and now wants to try and do more to help other businesses too.
Sam added: "We ask everyone to be kind to each other during these hard times and support each other and we would love to work with other local business to support our town.
"We all know you've got a sweet tooth and we'd really love to see you."
Speaking about their business, that was founded in 2019, Kerri and Katie said their aim was to provide the best confectionary treats and occasion cakes in Northwich.
They said: "There’s more to making a cake than the icing and the sponge; there’s the jam and the buttercream too.
"After being prompted by family and friends to share our cakes with the community, taking the plunge and providing them for the public has been the best decision we have ever made.
"Not only our loyal customers, but our online support has inspired us to pursue big things with our small business.
"Together, we offer afternoon teas, treats and cakes to all those who love confectionery as much as we do.
"With Kerri and Katie’s Cakes, there’s more to making a cake than the icing and the sponge; there’s a little bit of love in there too."
The pop-up shop will be open at BEAR on Saturday between 10am-3pm.
