IF you don't fancy cooking on Valentine's Day, a Northwich pub is offering to let you put your feet up.
The Bowling Green in London Road is resuming Sunday takeaways on February 14, from 12 noon until 6pm.
David Keith, who took over the pub in February last year, said: "During the first lockdown we served around 125 Sunday takeaways every week.
"We thought it would be a good idea to offer them again now as a lot of people don't want to be cooking on Valentine's Day".
A chef and some staff will return part time from furlough to prepare the meals.
A traditional dinner of roast beef, chicken or nut roast and salt and pepper chicken will be on the menu.
"We're also offering the ultimate burger challenge which includes an 8oz beef burger, breaded chicken, bacon, cheese, a fried egg, barbecue sauce, fries and salad," said David.

Children's meals are also available.
Special safety measures have been introduced so that people can collect meals in a car park at the back of the pub.
"Everything is Covid safe," said David. "There will be an open door and everything will be served across a table. Masks will be worn by all staff and hand sanitisers will be available.
"If the Sunday takeaways take off, we might also do Saturday night and go further into the week."
