PARISH councillors are sick and tired of dealing with household waste being dumped in the bin at Rudheath Cemetery.
A large red bin on the site is provided for cemetery waste – more residents are using it for their own rubbish ever more frequently.
The problem started last year, but has become more common in recent months.
Three bin bags of rubbish have appeared this week, including documents with an address, and this has been reported to Cheshire West and Chester Council by Cllr Alison Gerrard.
"I feel sorry for the council that has to go through it," she said.
"There were dirty nappies in there and all sorts.
"It highlights the problem that if CWAC does go to a three-week collection, we are going to get more of this, public bins are going to be rammed full."
Rudheath Parish Council is responsible for the cemetery and has invested in the large bin on-site – but it costs more money for it to be emptied on a more regular basis.
It is now asking residents to be vigilant and keep an eye out for anyone who is dumping rubbish in the cemetery bin.
Cllr Gerrard added: "It costs the parish council to get the bin emptied. It is only meant for cemetery waste.
"It has been going on for months now, but it has happening more and more, the bin will be full to capacity within a few days of it being emptied.
