THIS stunning picture of a snow storm in Northwich has won much acclaim.
Keen photographer Garry Deavall captured this evocative image the night before the town flooded.
The shot received so much praise from people on social media, he has decided to make it into a Christmas card to raise money to help businesses hit by Storm Christoph.
Dad-of-two Garry, 37, said: "I took it the night before the floods. I looked out of the window to see a winter wonderland and couldn't resist going out.
"With the contrast of the red letter box and the poppies in the background, I knew straightaway it was quite a cool picture.

"Since it seemed so popular I thought I would make it into a card."
In just a few hours, more than 540 cards were snapped up.
"I am offering them in packs of 10 for £7.50 and every pack I sell, I will donate £2.50 back to businesses," said Garry who lives in the town centre.
"The flood was absolutely horrific. I've never seen the town like that before.
"If I can sell 1,000, that will raise £250 towards the appeal."
The cards are A5 size and will be a limited edition.
