A BIG clean-up operation has now cleared the flooded streets in Northwich.
All roads around the town centre are now open.
However, people are being warned only to travel if necessary and to remember lockdown restrictions.
Teams from Cheshire West and Chester Council have been working very hard to clear all the flood water.
Many farmers have given been hailed heroes for giving up their time to help with the huge pumping operation.
With their tractors they have been working round the clock to clear water from the town in liaison with the Environment Agency.
Resident have praised the heroic efforts of the farmers.
One man said: “I spoke to one farmer and he said he started at 8am yesterday morning and was still there at 4pm in the afternoon.”
Road sweepers have also been praised for clearing everything up.
