LESS than 300 new Covid cases have been confirmed across Cheshire West and East in the latest daily figures.
New data from Public Health England covers the 24-hour period up to 9am today, January 23.
The number of new daily cases is continuing to drop as infection rates fall.
In Cheshire East, there were 124 new cases, compared with 157 the day before.
This brings the total number in the borough to 16, 948 since the pandemic began.
Cheshire West has seen 172 new cases reported in the latest figures compared with 194 yesterday.
The total number of cases now recorded for the borough is 17,573.
Altogether there have been 296 new cases in the past 24 hours.
