NORTHWICH woke up to a covering of snow this morning.
Showers fell overnight to leave a thin blanket of white covering many parts of the town.
The area remains under a yellow weather warning for snow and ice.
The Met Office forecasts there could be further snow and sleet showers throughout Saturday.
Drivers are warned to be careful on the roads and that there could be hazardous conditions.

The Met Office has advised people to expect some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, increasing the likelihood of accidents and injuries.
Some roads and railways likely to be affected by snowfall, with longer journey times by car as well as bus and train services.
