A NORTHWICH school has been devastated by the flood.
Witton Church Walk CE Nursery and Primary School has revealed it could take up to three months to repair the damage.
The ground floor has been completely submerged and the entire building is under flood water.
Headteacher Kathryn Magiera told parents: “It is with great sadness that I have to let you know it may take up to 10 weeks to get our ground floor to a state that it will be safe for your children to join us back in our school.
“I want to reassure you that we are working hard to ensure the school is up and running as soon as it can be.

“I will keep you updated each week with the progress and we intend to be ready to welcome our children back when the Government allows us to – we will be working hard to do this.
“We have managed to secure temporary accommodation to provide care for our key worker and vulnerable children at the Brio and hopefully we can move back to school upstairs as soon as we can.”
Parents have teamed up to help the school pay for all the repair damage.
A GoFundMe appeal launched only six hours ago has already raised more than £5,000.
