PICTURES show that much of the flood water in Northwich town centre has been cleared today.
While many roads are still flooded and people are being urged to stay away from the town centre, the floods that made Witton Street look like a river have cleared.

Workmen have been working hard this morning to clear the flood water from Northwich town centre.
Storm Christoph battered the whole country with heavy rain on Wednesday and Thursday this week, leaving Northwich under water yet again, just 15 months after the last major flood.
Businesses and homes have suffered huge amounts of damage.
But as workmen have been toiling hard to clear the water, the affects of their hard work are now clear to see.
