PICTURES of Northwich town centre today show the town under water once again.
Fifteen months after one of the town's worst experience of flooding, heavy rain has once again put the town centre under water, causing damage to homes and businesses and wreaking havoc to transport.
This time it is Storm Christoph that has done the damage.
The storm started yesterday and continued with heavy rain battering the whole country.
Fears spread among the community that despite flood defences being deployed in Northwich, a repeat of 2019 would be on the cards.
And that has proven to be the case, with residents waking up this morning to find floods all over the town.
It appears the areas worst hit are in the town centre by the marina and Waitrose area and along Witton Street.
Town Bridge has been closed to traffic.
