PARENTS and carers rejoice – you have made it through to Friday and the first week of home schooling for 2021 is nearly done.
Following Monday night’s announcement, schools are now closed to all but vulnerable children and the children of key workers.
And that means Joe Wicks is limbering up for PE again, dining tables are back in use as school desks, and children are tuning into online lessons as if they were a Netflix series.
We know it is a really challenging time for families across Northwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Knutsford and Wilmslow.
So we want to celebrate the pupils who are working hard through these tough times, as well as the tireless teachers keeping children informed, and the parents and carers who are rushed off their feet keeping youngsters’ minds active.
Share your pictures from the year’s first week of home schooling with the Guardian below – with your child’s name, age, hometown and the school they attend.
