A MARKETING assistant from Northwich has walked away from one of his favourite TV shows with a massive £40,000 cash prize.
Seb Kennedy left the professionals stunned as he claimed a big win on ITV’s Beat the Chasers on Wednesday night.
He described himself as a lover of travelling, having previously lived in Chile, and said he could go to Easter Island if he was lucky enough to win money on the show.
Seb told host Bradley Walsh: “When I was in Chile there was a lot of social unrest which meant I had to come home, so I would love to go back out there when it’s a bit more normal.”
The self-confessed ‘massive fan of the show’ also expressed his love for Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, the Chaser who starred on I'm a Celebrity in 2018.

He told Bradley the pair 'actually go way back', as he once walked past her and said ‘hi’ when he was 17.
Seb added: “She completely ignored me – it was amazing.”
After getting his first four questions correct, Seb had a £4,000 prize to take to the next round, when he could challenge the Chasers.
He chose to take on four of the professional quizzers, which gave him the chance to win £40,000 by answering questions head-to-head with 60 seconds on the clock, while the Chasers had 42 seconds.
Offering Seb the prize and the 18-second head-start, Mark ‘The Beast’ Labbett told his opponent: “£40,000 says you’re no good.”

Seb suffered a slow start, using up 29 of his 60 seconds to answer three questions correctly.
But when the Chasers went on to struggle themselves, their clock ticked down and The Beast was left to eat his words as Seb scooped the £40,000 prize.
Following Seb’s win, The Beast said: “It’s Russian roulette and we got three questions we didn’t know the answers to – simple as that.”
“Fortune always favours the brave,” added Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace.
