COVID infection rates have been increasing across Cheshire over the past few weeks.
Many in Northwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Knutsford and Wilmslow are seeing a rise in the number of coronavirus cases.
The latest localised figures from Public Health England cover the seven days up to Christmas Eve, December 24.
Areas of Wilmslow saw some of the county’s highest infection rates that week, including Lacey Green and Wilmslow Park, while the highest Covid rate in mid Cheshire was in Winsford Over.
This map shows the areas where coronavirus was most prevalent, with purple or darker shaded areas seeing a higher number of coronavirus cases.
It is broken down into geographical areas known as ‘middle super output areas’ – which are smaller than towns but larger than individual villages.
