FIREFIGHTERS helped free two people and a dog from a car following a crash this morning (Saturday).
A fire engine from Middlewich was called out at 7.20am to reports of a collision on Warmingham Lane.
The crew attended and helped to free two people and a dog from a car, which was on its side.
The occupants of the car were handed to the care of paramedics and firefighters were at the scene for half an hour.
Middlewich Fire Station said on its Facebook page: "This morning firefighters from Middlewich and Sandbach Fire Station were called to a road traffic collision in Middlewich.
"Firefighters assisted the occupants from the car and were checked over by North West Ambulance. Reminding all road users to take care on the roads.
