FIREFIGHTERS from Winsford and Northwich put out a fire in a woodland area of Sandiway earlier this evening.
They were called to the incident in Kennel Lane at around 6.30pm.
The crews initially proceeded to the fire on foot and on arrival used water back packs and beaters to tackle the fire.
The fire engine was also then driven to the scene and a hose reel jet used to extinguish the fire.
