CRISSY Rock has been forced to postpone her live tour show at Northwich Memorial Court due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Rock, who starred in ITV’s hit comedy series Benidorm for five years alongside the likes of Johnny Vegas and Tim Healey, made the announcement on her Twitter page.
She was due to be performing her unique brand of comedy at Memorial Court on Friday, April 17.
A new date for her visit to Northwich is yet to be confirmed, but visits to Belfast, Manchester and Liverpool have been pushed back to February 2021.
In a statement, the 61-year-old said: “Unfortunately, with the current climate, extended theatre closures, availability and further government advice regarding the Covid-19 outbreak, my Crissy Rock: Live tour show has had to be postponed until 2021.
“This situation is completely out of my hands, but ultimately, your safety is incredibly important to us.
“My tour manager has liaised with all of the venues to try and reschedule as many events as possible.”
Customers who bought tickets will see them automatically transferred for the new date.
Those unable to make this date or if the event is cancelled will hear from their original point of purchase, who will assist with any refunds or exchanges
Additional dates to her tour are expected to be announced in the near future.
