EIGHT lucky People’s Postcode Lottery punters in Northwich have been given a nice surprise today – to the tune of £1,000 each.
Two postcodes across town have been picked out in the daily £1,000 prize draw today, April 2.
There are three winners from CW8 4GY, in Greenbank, and five from CW9 7HL, in Rudheath.
Danyl Johnson, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, said: “What great news to start the day. Congratulations to our winners.”
Last month, two Moulton neighbours scooped £1,000 each from the daily draw.
At least 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
This draw was promoted by Sightsavers which has received over £3.9 million in funding from the players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
The organisation prevents sight loss and avoidable blindness in more than 30 countries and works with local communities to support people who need it most.
