The approved plans include five two-bedroom terraced homes, 18 three-bedroom terraced, 20 three-bedroom semi-detached, 15 three-bedroom semi-detached with garage, 31 three-bedroom detached with garage, and 19 four-bedroom detached with garage.
The plans, subject to a section 106 funding agreement, also include vehicular access, associated car parking, landscaping and public open space.
Lane End says pre-commencement of site activities are underway with the college campus with demolition being scheduled for the summer.
Managing director Richard Harrison said: “This is a really important scheme for Lane End Group.
"The team have been working hard on this for several months and I’m pleased that our application has been approved by Cheshire West and Chester Council.
“We are already engaged in the area, building over 500 new homes in Delamere, Winsford, Lostock Gralam, and Helsby, so we know the landscape and are working in the community through our social enterprise, New Beginnings.
“Our team will continue our community-focused approach to construction which we hope will breathe new life into this part of Northwich.”
