ONE of the stars of ITV’s hit comedy series Benidorm is heading to Northwich this Easter.
Crissy Rock was a regular in the show for five years, playing the role of hotel manager Janey alongside the likes of Johnny Vegas and Tim Healey.
As well as being a well-known actress, the Liverpudlian is also a successful comedian and was a popular contestant in I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here in 2011.
And she will be bringing her unique brand of comedy to Northwich when she takes to the stage at Memorial Court in April.
In a tweet, the 61-year-old said: “The news is now out.
“I'm going on my first UK tour this spring 2020 and tickets are now on sale.
“Look forward to seeing you all there.
“Touring across the UK appearing at Swindon, Wolverhampton, Manchester, The Wirral, Liverpool, Northwich and Crewe.”
The stand-up comic is described as one of the UK’s ‘true undiscovered and genius talents’ on her website, which adds that she has the ability to ‘reduce her audiences to tears of laughter’.
Her 2011 autobiography, ‘The Heart Within Me Burns’, sat in the top ten of the Sunday Times bestseller list for seven months following its release.
Crissy will be performing at Northwich memorial Court on Friday, April 17 at 7:00 pm.
Tickets cost £20.25 each and are available via ticketmaster.co.uk.
