TWO people were rescued from a car that was submerged in floodwater in Hartford this morning.
Fire crews from Northwich, Winsford and Warrington attended the incident in Littledales Lane, Hartford at around 10.30am.
On arrival the crews found the car was approximately three foot deep in water under the railway bridge.
There were no injuries as a result of the incident and firefighters were detained for around 90 minutes.
Littledales Lane has now been closed as a result of the flooding.
