VICS and 1874 both progress through to the FA Cup First Qualifying Round after wins today for the Northwich sides.
There was late drama at Wincham Park with two stoppage time goals from Tom Kilifin sending Vics through to the next round of the competition.
The deadlock in a close contest was broken when the away side Prescot Cables were awarded a penalty with 10 minutes remaining after Fleming brought down the attacker just inside the box.

The spot-kick was tucked away hard and low in the bottom corner with the Vics keeper Joel Thompson diving the wrong way.
And with the clock running down, it seemed the home side were to exit the FA Cup early this season, until newly introduced subsitute John Connolly headed the ball down for Kilifin to poke in an equaliser on 90 minutes.

There was less late drama at 1874, but twice as many goals, and all for the side in green.

The opener came after five minutes through Mike Koral before Jake Parker headed home to double the lead seven minutes later.

Parker was involved again on the 36-minute mark, this time as the architect, crossing the ball to find McGowan for his first of the afternoon.
McGowan's second came just three minutes later when '74 skipper Matt Woolley headed across goal for his teammate to finish into an empty net.
A qiueter second half was capped off with two goals in as many minutes for McGowan, sending the Greens through to the First Qualifying Round in September.
