AN award-winning acupuncturist who set up in the Weaver Business Centre after changing career will join a Bath college as associate director.
Emma Guy, owner and MD at Acupuncture That Works, will join The Healing and Acupuncture College when their next set of training courses start later this year.
Emma will be working alongside college principal Jamie Hedger, who originally trained Emma when she chose to change her career.
Acupuncture That Works has since become one of the fastest growing brands in the UK, with practices in Northwich, Winsford and Chester.
The business has recently won the prestigious 2019 Alternative Medicine and Holistic Health Awards title of UK Acupuncture Clinic of the Year 2019.
Emma will join the expanding college's teaching team to increase the number of teaching days and train more aspiring practitioners than ever before.
College principal Jamie Hedger said: “I’m really looking forward to working with Emma and pooling talents to develop the college and its courses further.
“Emma is based in the north of England, which will enable us to offer the course in an alternative venue for those who live in the north and Scotland."
Emma added: “I’m delighted to be a part of The Healing and Acupuncture College and to be able to help the next generation of acupuncturists achieve their ambitions.
“I’m particularly looking forward to being able to share the principles of building and growing a successful acupuncture clinic with the next intake of students."
