TESCO Northwich’s pharmacy is offering flu vaccinations in-store through to November.
Shoppers can drop-in or book in for their jab between 8am and 7pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm Sunday.
Rob Squire, pharmacist at the Manchester Road store, said: “The flu vaccination season starts in September.
“The NHS want people to have their jabs before flu starts circulating. It’s peak time for vaccinations at the moment, and the NHS has asked pharmacies to join the push to increase uptake.”
The injected flu vaccine is offered free on the NHS annually to adults at risk of flu, as well as children aged six months to two.
You’re eligible for a free jab if you’re 65 or over, pregnant, have certain medical conditions, are very overweight, in a residential care home, receive a carer’s allowance or are a front-line health and social care worker.
