BOLLYWOOD fever has begun in Northwich after a dance workshop held in the town centre.
The Bollywood Bhangra dance workshop took place at Northwich Memorial Court on Saturday as a teaser for the Bollywood Comes to Northwich night later this month.
It was organised by Kingsmead woman Lalita Sivakumar, who runs Lalita's Namastey India, a dance group for adults and children.
She said: "Bollywood Bhangra is an exciting Indian dance form which involves a lot of shoulder and hip movements.
"It is also an excellent way of keeping oneself fit through Bollywood dancing."
A stall sold Indian costumes during the workshop, with profits going to The Joshua Tree.
The Bollywood Comes to Northwich event takes place at Northwich Memorial Hall on Friday, February 26, and includes an Indian gala buffet by Kanya Cafe Bar and Bistro and Bollywood dance performances by Lalita's Namastey India.
Lalita's next session of Bollywood dance classes start at Hartford village hall from March 3.
