A FAMILY were horrified when they found a workmen's toilet positioned next to their back garden.
Lisa O'Brien, from Moulton, sent in this picture of the portable toilet on the other side of her back fence, on the land that is being developed by Bovis.
"They've got two fields and they've put this directly outside my house," she said.
"I've got two young kids who play in the garden and the thought of workmen loitering outside the garden is horrible."
Her neighbour Jim Clarke, also a member of Moulton Parish Council, gave fellow parish councillors a report about the temporary facility at their latest meeting.
"It's a blue loo that looks like the Tardis," he said.
"It's been put there while they do an archaeological survey – obviously they need a facility on sight but it's right against the residential properties.
"I went to talk to them about why they put it there and how long it was going to be there.
"It was put there because the land is too soft to drive a truck over.
"They were afraid it was going to get stuck so they stopped 200 yards into the field."
Cllr Arthur Wood quipped: "They didn't want it to get bogged down."
The portable toilet was taken away within a week.
Lisa said: "It's a small victory because they've moved it now, but it's only at the start of the building work."
