POLICE have confirmed the body of a man was found in the village of Kingsley this morning, Sunday.
The body of the man, 44, was found in a ditch close to Kingsley Cricket Club.
Cheshire Police told the Guardian that there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
Officers were called to Mill Lane at 10.20am where they discovered the body of the man, who was local to the area.
His next of kin has been informed.
Police said the man had been visiting friends in the area and had been making his way down Mill Lane.
The man was 5ft 10in tall and had short brown receding hair. He was wearing a dark jacket over a light coloured sweater with blue jeans and dark trainers.
Police are appealing for residents to contact them if they saw the man between 6pm on Saturday, January 10 and 10.20am on Sunday (January 11).
