THE Brighton Belle pub in Winsford closed on Monday, October 6 for a two-week period as it undergoes a ‘mini-makeover’.

The work on the Hungry Horse pub in Middlewich Road will include decorating and modernising the interior, adding feature booths for up to eight people and improving the external seating area.

Talking about the work, pub manager, Andrew Bishop, said: “The pub has been in need of a bit of a refresh and this mini makeover will be just the job.

“We are hoping to keep the disruption to a minimum and are looking to reopen on Tuesday, October 21, when we would invite everyone to come along and take a look at the changes.”
