A THOUGHTFUL youngster has made the most of a national craft craze to help a stable that helps others.
Emily Barrow, nine, answered a plea for fundraising from Riding for the Disabled at Sandy Lane Equestrian Centre and has been making loom band bracelets to sell.
Rose Tommons, from Riding for the Disabled, said: "Emily has made loads of loom bands and has made £35 selling the m at reception.
"She's just done it off her own bat, she's only nine, and no-one asked her to do it.
"We just put a sign up in reception saying 'what can you do to help us raise funds?'
"Everyone loves them."
Riding for the Disabled gives disabled people the opportunity to ride and enjoy the activities connected with horse riding in a friendly, fun and safe environment.
It also acts as a therapeutic and recreational alternative form of physiotherapy for disabled people.
