IN the Crewe Liberal Cub Open League Premier Division, early leaders Pioneers A continued their good start to the season completing an 8-0 whitewash of Kings Arms A.
The win came thanks to top arrows from Tony Richardson, who included a 180 in his 13-dart leg and Fred Smith who chipped in with a 180.
Mark Jodrill was also in form hitting a 14 dart leg with a 180 for Cosey Club who trounced Delamere 6-2.
Westend Lmr B were also in form thrashing Vine A 7-1 helped by Dave Bickerton, 15 darts, Daniel Ayres, 16 darts, P.J.Lynskey, 19 darts, Ken Cliffe, 132 checkout, and Chris Townsend with a 180.
Nantwich Rd Aslef enjoyed a 120 finish by Rocky Snelson to beat Commercial 5-3.
In Division One darts the current leaders are promoted pair Brunel A and Oddfellows, who both had 6-2 victories over respective opponents White Lion F/lane A and Amalgamated A.
Top performers in the division were Adele Probin and Dave Coyne who both hit 18 darters for Oddfellows while Jason Bradley hit 15 darts with a 120 checkout for Brunel A.
Others in form were Stuart Gilligan(Broughton) 17 darts,Dougie Lightfoot (Flying Lady A) 19 darts with a 180 and Phil Shaw(Flying Lady A) a 180 maximum.
The Imp are setting the pace in Division Two following a 7-1 thrashing of Hawk, Imp duo Ben Snape and Ken Greenhall both hit 19 dart legs while Hawk’s Dave Arrowsmith responded with a 180 maximum.
Tommy Clarke(Bridge C) hit a 16 darter and Steve Hughes(Express) 20 darts.
Division Three looks like being a two-horse race between Swan & Chequers and Willaston Club who both had 7-1 victories over respective opponents Capt Webb and Liberal Club leaving Swan with a one point lead and nearest rivals Coppenhall Club trailing by eight points.
Top marksmen were M.Cope(Swan & Chequers) 19 darts and 180, Phil Massey(Kings B) 20 darts and a 180 and Dave Morris (Coppenhall Club) a 117 checkout.
Rising Sun B lead Division Four darts after a 6-2 win at Brunel C, Prince A, whose game was postponed, Duke C who beat White Lion Copp 6-2 and Nags with a 5-3 victory over Dishers B are close behind.
Lee Brown(Rising Sun B) hit a 39 checkout and Andy Baldwin(Nags) hit a 180.
Prince of Wales D are the leaders of division five darts after an 8-0 white-wash of Cheese Hall,Hop Pole B and Coach & Horses drew 4-4 and are close behind.
Premier Division dominoes leaders Kings A, 5-3 victors against Pioneers A, are two points ahead of Nantwich Rd Aslef, who beat Commercial 6-2 Pioneers B 5-3 winners against Flying Lady A and Broughton 6-2 victors over Nantwich Rd A are joint leaders of division one dominoes.
There is a three way tie at the top of Division Two dominoes between Woodside, who lost 5-3 at Bridge A, Bridge C, held to a 4-4 draw at Express, and Hawk, who beat visitors The Imp 5-3.
In Division Three dominoes Flying Lady B are in top spot after a 5-3 defeat of Vine B one point ahead of Swan & Chequers 6-2 winners at Captain Webb and Liberal Club who were held to a draw by Willaston Club.
Division four dominoes has four teams at the top on level points Nags Head 5-3 winners against Dishers B,Rising Sun B and Brunel C who drew 4-4,and White Lion Coppenhall held to a draw by Duke of Bridgewater C.
In division five dominoes Dishers A are top after a 5-3 win against Foresters B and Prince of Wales D are two points behind after a 6-2 defeat of Cheese Hall.
