STAFF and pupils at The Russett School in Weaverham are celebrating their achievement in gaining Ofsted’s highest ranking in all areas.
The school specialises in catering for pupils aged two to 19 with severe and complex needs.
“All the staff and governors have worked really hard to achieve this outstanding performance,” said head teacher Catherine Lewis.
“We are very proud of how the school has moved forward and the progress that our pupils and students are continuing to make.”
Ofsted inspectors inspected the school over two days in July, and gave outstanding marks for the achievement of pupils, the quality of teaching, the behaviour and safety of pupils and the leadership and management of the school.
