NEW headmaster Guy Rands has spoken of his pride at taking the reins at The Grange Junior School.
“I am extremely proud to be taking up the position of headmaster of one of the country’s leading and most successful junior schools,” said Mr Rands.
“The thing I am looking forward to most in the coming year is the opportunity to get to know every child at the school.
“The most important thing for me is that the school sustains and develops its ethos – that of a caring, happy and purposeful place in which to learn and flourish.”
Prep 6 pupil Scarlet Peck said: “Mr Rands wants to make the school even happier, and he has already encouraged us to be the best we can be.”
Chris Jeffery, headmaster of The Grange School, said: “I know Mr Rands as an outstanding and immensely hard-working deputy within my team at the senior school, and am completely confident he will become a similarly effective and inspirational leader for the junior school.”
