Autumn may be here, but Cheshire is set to enjoy a final flourish of summer sun.
After one of the wettest Augusts since records began, the Met Office has predicted warmer than average weather for the rest of September and the start of October.
Temperatures are expected to hit 20 degrees on Monday, thanks to warm air being pushed from the Atlantic.
A Met Office spokeswoman said: “A lot of the UK is going to be quite dry, particularly next week.”
