Children in Need boost
LOCAL charity Deafness Support Network has won funding from BBC Children in Need for a three-year project, I’m Hear, which is due to be launched next month.
The funding will enable the charity to employ two specialist staff to work intensively with D/deaf children, young people and their families across the north west, providing home-based practical support to improve communications.
The charity has a centre at London Road, Northwich, and Stepping Stones –
