FAMILY and friends of a Crewe motorcyclist who died in a road traffic collision have paid tribute to a ‘respectful and loyal family man’.
24-year-old Stuart Cartwright died in a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the A534 Salters Lane in Bickerton on Sunday, September 21.
Stuart sustained serious injuries and died at the scene after his blue Suzuki motorcycle was in collision with a grey Volvo and silver Skoda between the Sandstone Inn and Sailors Lane at 2pm.
Stuart was known as ′Buggs′ by his family and friends.
In a statement, his family said: “Buggs is a respectful and loyal family man who has worked hard throughout his life. He was willing to put his hand to anything. He leaves a massive void in our family that can never be filled.
“We will all miss his moods, his jokes and his laughs. He will be missed as a son, brother, dad, uncle, grandson and friend by all who know him.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision itself, as well as the events leading up to it.
Anyone who may have any information is being asked to call 101, quoting incident number 502 of 21/9/14. Alternatively witnesses can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
