PREMIER Division dominoes has current champions Kings Arms A setting the pace with a 7-1 defeat of Cheshire Cheese Wheelock, whose landlord Mick Pointon and Miles Halligan won the final pairs to prevent a blankout.
They are followed by promoted Delamere Arms who hit Nantwich Road ASLEF for six.
Division One is a two half race with Nantwich Road A heading the scramble with a 7-1 win at Amalgamated A, complete submission prevented by Steve Faddes opening win for the ‘Mals, with current champions Pioneers B, Broughton Arms and relegated Hop Pole A one point back after home wins over promoted duo Oddfellows Club and Brunel A and Flying Lady A Division Two is the closest section with teams gaining three, four or five points.
Bridge C, Woodside and Amalgamated B head the pack after 5-3 victories over Bridge A, Sydney Arms and Express.
Division Three is headed by current champions Liberal Club who hit Cheshire Cheese Shavington for seven, Sandra Huxley providing the Cheese only win.
The remainder gained three, four or five points, although Vine B may regret letting slip a 5-1 advantage at promoted Nantwich Road B.
Division Four has the inevitable Prince of Wales A top scoring with a 6-2 defeat of Dishers B, tied with Rising Sun B who won 6-2 at Nags Head. The other two matches ended all square.
Division Five has relegated Coach & Horses well to the fore after whitewashing under strength visitors Cheese Hall.
Dishers A and Foresters B scored thee points less with 5-3 home victories over Prince D and Hop Pole B.
