NANTWICH Town Councillor, Harold Cooper, has switched allegiance from Conservative to UKIP after saying he was ‘disillusioned’ with the Tories.
“I have decided to join UKIP because their policies resonate with me, particularly moving power back to grass roots level,” he said.
Local UKIP MEP Louise Bours claimed: “The Conservatives are haemorrhaging support to us all over the country and this is just another example.
“I was delighted to welcome Harold to UKIP and have no doubt he will be an asset to our party.”
