TOP crafty creations featured at the Whitegate Village Show on Saturday, September 13.
The annual event drew scores of entries across various disciplines including horticulture, photograph and art, while visitors indulged in afternoon tea, prize giveaways and mountains of cake.
“It was another very successful show. It’s always a great community event for the village,” said Alison Gardner of Whitegate WI, which organised the event.
“There were some great entries this year. We had quite a few from the Brownies, which was good because we’re always keen for young people to get involved.
“They made puppets from recycled socks and there were some excellent entries to the baking competition.”
