THE September meeting, taken by the president Jean Hitchen, began with the singing of Jerusalem.
Get well wishes were sent to sick members and a visitor was welcomed. Minutes of the last meeting were read and signed off.
The darts team have been practising for the group darts match at Bunbury later this month. Names were collected for the annual hot pot supper in October. A group of members helping to make bunting for the 95th birthday next year are to meet in the hall soon.
Instead of the usual talk from a guest speaker, there was a fashion show given by OMNIA of Witton Street, Northwich. Members had a chance to try some of the clothes and accessories, and after the meeting some purchased handbags, scarves and items of clothing.
