FIREFIGHTERS attended a house blaze in Winsford that gutted an upstairs bedroom and spread into the roof space of the neighbouring property.
Three fire engines from Winsford, Northwich and Middlewich attended the blaze in Commonwealth Close at 9.30am this morning.
Crews found the first floor bedroom well alight. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets inside the properties.
Covering jets were used at the front and back and crew members using height safety equipment removed roof tiles and lagging from the loft.
Thermal imaging cameras were also used to check for hotspots.
The fire is believed to have been started by an electrical appliance.
