POPULAR Crewe musician Tom Seals will be playing a big home-town concert on the Municipal Square in the town on Saturday, September 20 as part of his UK tour.
In association with Crewe Town Council, Tom and his band will be performing a free open air show during the afternoon for all to enjoy.
Quite possibly the future of jazz and pop music, the 21-year old pianist from the town has enjoyed tremendous success over the last few years, working with an array of familiar names, including Beverley Knight, Daniel Bedingfield, Tony Christie, Steve Brookstein, Joe Stilgoe and Dame Cleo Laine.
His debut album, released in 2013 spent four months in the UK blues charts, with two tracks from the album making the top 10.
The event will start at 11am. and will feature a full programme of live music from Tom and his band, as well as performances from up-and-coming local musicians Oli Ng and Jordan Cope.
The music acts have been arranged in association with music website crewegigs.com and have been especially selected for the event.
Tom said: "I'm really excited to be hitting the road with my band and can't wait to take my show across the country. It'll be a pleasure and a privilege to play a show for my home town along the way.
"I'm very grateful for the support that I receive locally and it will be great to play in the town centre. The Municipal Square is a beautiful setting and I hope that the public come down to enjoy the excellent live music.
"Our fingers are crossed for good weather."
This is a free, family friendly event.
