CHARITIES are hoping their supporters will walk over hot coals for them this November.
The Joshua Tree and St Luke's Hospice have organised a sponsored firewalk on November 22.
Firewalking dates back 3,000 years and is still considered to be a spiritual and healing practice. Sara Wheater, from The Joshua Tree, said: “I know many people who would do anything for charity so walking over a bed of hot wooden coals will be a must for some of our supporters.
"Our sponsored firewalk will be held in conjunction with St Luke’s Hospice and it will be a great event for two great causes.”
