MEMOIRS of a Moulton man are now available to buy in paperback.
David Yearsley self-published his book 'Winding the Clock Back' in digital e-reader format in June but has now brought out a paperback version.
"We've brought it forward because so many people have asked," he said.
His story, published under the pen name Dave Kenneth, is inspired by his childhood in the village in the 1960s.
He grew up in a house off Niddries Lane, now Park Lane, where his mum still lives, and his book covers a variety of tales, from trials with the nit nurse to bonfire night japes.
The book has been illustrated by cartoonist Bill Tidy, who has drawn for Private Eye and the Daily Mirror, among others.
David is now hoping for some good reviews so that he can approach publishers.
"I've had good feedback but need a couple of dozen reviews before I can approach independent publishers," he said.
"People are telling me they like it but not doing reviews and the more reviews I get the better."
The book is available for £9.99 from Amazon or for a discount direct from David.
